ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

Each of us understands the significance of the implementation as regards the tasks which have a direct impact on ensuring property rights for both the state and ordinary citizens. In the jungle of changing regulations, historical arrears and increasing civic awareness of the protection of their property, works concerning geodetic law, particularly rules on land and building register, require comprehensive technical knowledge, extensive experience as well as appropriate interpersonal skills. The Department of Geodesy and Photogrammetry not only can cope with these challenges but also implement them successfully throughout Poland.

During the decades of our activity we have created hundreds of hectares of the master maps (today BDOT500), we have established GESUT databases and other industrial registers. We successfully support the administration and private clients in the construction of spatial information systems. One could expect that in the era of satellite receivers geodetic control networks are bound to lose their popularity - that's not true, as far as this area in concerned we can boast of professionalism as regards designing them, their establishment and modernization. From our perspective professional team constitutes the highest value, that is why we focus on its development and support our employees in increasing their qualifications while ensuring the use of the highest quality hardware and software.
